There's no such thing as a "nice guy" to me. There are guys who are nice and guys who are not nice. But "Nice" shouldn't be the defining characteristic for anyone.
If that's all you can say about yourself, "I'm nice," I'm just going to wonder what more there is to you, and why you didn't lead with that.

Yes sometimes I make a playlist, but usually listen to an album or single on repeat if it’s one that I really like or just shuffle my tracks

I use and have both headphones and ear buds depends what I am doing and going (headphones miss with the hair)

I can't disagree with you @ all..I have listened to The Undun album twice and I must say th@ i am far from impressed on any level.. first because most hip hop albums r concept albums to a certain extent..especially roots albums and ppl who happen to kinda fall in their lane..i agree Blackthought is a very good emcee...i think , th@ over janky production like th@ i can understand , even though i might not like ppl listening to waka flocka , i understand , when u wanna hear some head banger boogie..th@ is wh@ ya wanna hear..and it doesn't matter if the lyrics don't motivate u as long as the music does...from th@ aspect i think the roots have missed the mark totally...as far as concept albums go it's no Blacktrash: The Autobiography of Kirk Jones ... i could name countless others th@ it doesn't compare to..i guess it's allot more of us out here than we think th@ weren't impressed with Undun

You know, I actually agree to an extent. While I like the melancholy edge that The Roots grew into, I agree that Thought doesn't get much chance to really go off on the mic like he used to.
I don't know how much of that is ?uest being a musician and Thought simply having something else to say. Either way, you know I'm a stan for life, lol. But I do get what you're saying.

I listen on my computer a lot.
I listen in my car every time I drive, usually via my mp3 player.
When I take public transportation, I always have music with me.
I don't listen to the radio. The radio at work lets me know that this is a wise decision.
I do make playlists.
I sometimes let an album ride, but they're usually old albums from back when people actually made albums. The Roots are an exception. :-)
I sometimes leave a song on repeat. More often, I'll play the same 3-5 songs all day.
I use ear buds morethan headphones.

This is something that I've also noticed. I will point out that at least great comedian Franklin Ajaye played her father, but Rudolph's whole camp were white. Didn't even see black family members at the wedding.

Add this to the the Black male SO choices and you have a serious problem. Leading Black men paired with either Latina or mixed race women like Paula Patton.

thanks for posting... i'm always skeptical of MCs releasing a whole album of Dilla's beats, but this is actually pretty dope. the flow of the rhymes fits J's mode in a big way.

I had no expectations for this album either. I heard H.A.M. and thought it was unremarkable. Some witty lyrics and a decent beat behind it, but nothing to make it stick in my mind. Otis was more of the same. I actually thought the beat was just ugly and lacked much of anything that would turn it into more than a looped Otis Redding song.

The album as a whole has some pretty noteworthy sonic moments, as well as a few songs with content that make you listen close. However, I think overall they lyrics suffer from too much "swag" (I hate that word) and gloss. This album sounds like a bunch of features over tracks that Drake would rap over.

I had no hopes or expectations for this album but I feel Watch the Throne is that person that brags about what they can do and when asked to do it, they give you all the reasons why it might not be good. The kings of this throne are no King Solomon, they just have diamond studded crowns. I expected this album to have a great deal of substance but that only comes in 2 or 3 tracks, murder excellence and new day are stand outs. That's My Bitch takes the cake for that 90's new jack swing vibe. Why I Love you is admirable for its honesty. This album is forgettable but the major stand out is its fashion clad Tisci cover, yes it's memorable because it avoids cliches.
