50 Cent Gets Set Up
50 Cent is the most entertaining interview in music. In this video he gives hilarious insight on the "beef" he had with Kanye.
I can admit that I am definitely a 50 fan. Others can have T.I., Wayne or Jeezy or whatever ignorant pop rapper you would like to insert, but 50's ear for beats & sense of humor wins me over. Plus, he tends to take shots at artists that I don't like. That doesn't hurt, either. lol
P.S. I actually liked Jealous One's Envy era Fat Joe. I can't clap to this Fat Joe.

Ivory Dome Gives You Lorette Fleur
This multi-talented Parisian based songstress, producer, mixer e.t.c can get my money and then some. I recently discovered Lorette Fleur on one of my sleepless, myspace music search nights and I was glad to find a gem. Her voice is super smooth and compelling. She's collaborated with Georgia Anne Muldrow, so what do you expect. Her lyrics are a glimpse into humanity and amor. Get the full effect on tracks like Look Around , it starts out as a heavy jam session and then intros a soothing call to awareness. I believe French accent with an African tinge makes singing in English much more seductive. Vraiment !

The Car That Will Save The Planet . . . Maybe!
BYD Auto is a car manufacturer out of China that is claiming to have built an electric car that will get 250 miles off of just one charge! According to Jalopnik.com the car can possibly be charged to 50% power within 10 minutes. The car is currently a concept car, but do you think we might actually see something like this on the streets and somewhat affordable in our lifetimes?
The businessman of all businessmen, Warren Buffet, is enough of a believer to buy a 10% stake in BYD Auto.
What do you think?

Happy <3's Day: Cookin' Soul - 90's & My Heart's Broken
This another interesting concoction from my favorite Spaniards. Basically it's 50 meets the 90's. 50 previously had a little meet & greet with the 80's.

Random Geekery III: The Nerd? Geek? or Dork? Test
Your result for The Nerd? Geek? or Dork? Test...
Modern, Cool Nerd
52 % Nerd, 65% Geek, 48% Dork
For The Record:
A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.
A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one.
A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions.
You scored better than half in Nerd and Geek, earning you the title of: Modern, Cool Nerd.
Nerds didn't use to be cool, but in the 90's that all changed. It used to be that, if you were a computer expert, you had to wear plaid or a pocket protector or suspenders or something that announced to the world that you couldn't quite fit in. Not anymore. Now, the intelligent and geeky have eked out for themselves a modicum of respect at the very least, and "geek is chic." The Modern, Cool Nerd is intelligent, knowledgable and always the person to call in a crisis (needing computer advice/an arcane bit of trivia knowledge). They are the one you want as your lifeline in Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (or the one up there, winning the million bucks)!
Congratulations!
Also, you might want to check out some of my other tests if you're interested in any of the following:
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Professional Wrestling
Love & Sexuality
America/Politics

Stevie Wonder - My Cherie Amor [Beatnick & K-Salaam Remix]
I know what you're thinking, blasphemous! But, Beatnick & K-Salaam did a great job with the song. It's obviously not at as good as the original, but they definitely did it justice.

Ivory Dome gives you Brittany Bosco
'09 is going to be Brittany Bosco's year. I'm cheering on the sidelines for this vocal genius. I got the chance to see her live at the now closed Knitting Factory near Canal Street in New York and I heard spine tingling liquid gold vocals. She is a force to be reckoned with, so get on board with her Jazzy, Hip-Hopy, sultry and soulful sound, which is courtesy of a tight production team, I mean super tight (Alex Goose, Branden Collins...). Highlights are the Intro Welcome to Funkyolon, with it's funky groove. 8-Trak takes it to another level definitely a body moving track with heavy drums, her "love is like the 8-Trak you can't find" she says. Blues for Blue is a Jazz melange that takes my breathe away. It pulls you into a different world, open bruise... blues blood, damn it's all Brittany Bosco Magic.

We Need To Do Better II (NWS Language)
It's been a long while since I gave out my last L, but when a friend posted this to my facebook page, I had to blog about it.
It's the pot calling the kettle black while holding a CHILD! If the child wasn't there this would be pure comedy gold. I still laughed . . . but with a twinge of guilt . . . on the inside . . . that was well hidden by the laughter. :-S
*Which one of these is your favorite quotable?
"chro-nogic-ally"
"Ya'll still f*ckin' with hoes that wear sneakers?"
"Schematics of Gangsterism"
"Depreciation of O.G. status"

RaTheMC - Diva
One of my favorite newer emcees that I just discovered in the last few months is RaTheMC and she did a nice re-imagining of Beyonce's Diva. I wish female emcees could actually get the quality of beats that Beyonce does. I guess I'll just have to settle for dope mixtapes and white labels. lol
BTW, don't put a space in her name. Although it's pronounced Ra The MC . . . she likes it written as RaTheMC. :) lol
