Learn Something New Everyday

Apparently there is a Black Googlers Network. It's made up of Black Google employees that go out into the community to do charitable work on Google's behalf. In the past the group has gone down to New Orleans to help Hurricane Katrina victims rebuild as well as participated in a Walk-A-Thon for United Negro College Fund.

Many corporations make these community outreach efforts, but I just thought it was interesting that there was a group of Black employees specifically getting together for this purpose.

You can read more about them on Google's official blog Google's official blog.
