Jay-Z + Santogold + Kanye's Production = ???

I love how spooky & robotic Santi's voice sounds. I really need her in my life! If only I could find a way to make her my wife and impregnate her. *sigh*

Oh, yeah . . . the video is insane & Kanye & Jay-Z were ok, too.

*drifts back off into daydream*

Is this video official? If so, that's kinda crazy considering it JUST came out.

as for the song, I'm at work so I can't hear/watch anything...would this be the song that's on the Notorious sdtrk? if so, I listened to that before going to work this morning and I have one word to describe my feelings for the song: LOVE

Yeah, that's the song! I would've preferred a Steelers hat, but she gets a pass because she's Santogold. lol

Santogold is one of my favorite new artists, what you said about her voice is spot on. I just wish that she wasn't linking up with Jay-Z. Kanye is iffy enough, but Jay-Z is the opposite of indie cool. Now if she were to collaborate with the likes of Lupe Fiasco or Common that would be respectable. But hey, nobody's perfect! She still rocks though.

Well, I look at it like this in regards to appearing with Jay-Z & Kanye, it brings her more exposure. I think it would be a little more suspect if they appeared on her album, but she's just on a song on someone else's album/movie soundtrack.

For marketing exposure, she gets a pass. More people should enjoy Santogold's tunes. By the way, I was listening to a Coldplay interview and one of the members (not Martin) said that he was really into Santogold. Now if only Coldplay and Santi could link up. That would be a good use of the Jay-Z connection.
